medical mission trip
back from a trip to the dominican republic documenting a local medical mission team - here one of the members consoles a child who was pretty scared before surgery on a hernia. great to do some work again out of the country and amazing to see what can be done in one week by this team.

awesome that you got to go there (on the newspaper's dime too?) - ahh, to have such a job as you.. :)
the photo has impact but the sepia doesn't fit, for me.
