quad rugby
i was doing some volunteer shooting for a local wheelchair rugby tournament and before the tournament this great light came through the gym. here a player pauses during warmups. if anyone ever gets a chance to check out quad rugby in their area, i encourage them to look into it.

i had the opportunity to shoot a quad rugby event several years ago and found it to be quite moving. i can still remember nearly all of the names of the guys involved. at that point i had never known someone in a wheelchair, i listened to their stories during and after practice and have never forgotten them. i was really amazed by their desire to compete.
