memorial day parade

covered the memorial day parade yesterday.

i had some extra time, and was looking to try something different, and so i did a number of different shots exposing for highlights, and even under exposing somewhat. i don't normally do this, but thought it was working so i keep my eye on this one situation.

this WWII vet was in the shadows while sitting on a car to be in the parade, and just some of the light was getting him and the flag. he's an ex-pow, and almost 90-years old now.
