friday dinner

so i've been spending a lot of time with tom and theresa, the couple i've been doing a story on - i'm not posting any pics from the story on a recommendation of a friend (since it's a story in progress)

but here's an single that won't be used in the story - tom, who is blind, eating dinner tonight at the foot of theresa's bed. i love spending time with these two.

i was testing out a 5d on an assignment yesterday - these girls were learning how to document their life courtesy of an olympus-sponsored visionary photographer - i don't know if she was visionary, but she was nice.

anyway, here's a pic - i love the drop off depth of field. now if i can only justify paying as much as i would to max out a roth ira for a camera and a lens.

i was watching this show on how to be a photographer, trying to get pointers. maybe i'll start wearing a hat like this.
