came to town - these kids get to "make" a lunar module. sometimes i wish i lived on a lunar module.

ken

is 74, and a stroke survivor. he used to play the sax professionally. after his stroke he lost the use of his right arm and had to relearn how to play the sax with just his left.

he now volunteers his time with a local hospital and plays for patients and staff - so i spent a day with him and did a minifoto story. here are a few from it.

here's another attempt at learning photoshop for illustrative purposes - this image doesn't mean anything really, it's just more for learning techniques now. i feel like a kid in a candy store learning all of this - or more specifically, like ross in a bean factory.

been doing a lot of features lately - here's one from a kid track meet.

foreclosure

we did a story on this woman who is fighting foreclosure. she's one of the thousands across the country which are going through this tough situation.

i am hoping that we will spend more time with her in something more long-term instead of a quick hit but here's a pic from the other day.

awol

been out sick for a good bit this week and i also am working on a lot of things that haven't pubbed yet but will get more up soon - meanwhile here's a feach pic shot of dad playing driveway hockey with his son.
