wedding bells

are ringing and might be ringing more for ross if he gets laid off soon from his day job. for now, doing weddings is still something on the side though.

summer reading

this is my first attempt at a photoshop composite illustration - the ones i've done in the past were all in camera but this was mainly computer generated. the illustration was for a summer reading article.

facing debt

this woman is facing heavy credit card debt as well as other, including her home which she is fighting now to keep as she gets her life back on track financially.

day off

had a free day today and for fun went to the rodeo and local fair. decided to make some pictures in between watching baby goats fight each other and staring at a lot of fried food.

the lower picture is of a bull rider who got hurt while riding. i was scared just to have dirt kicked on me by a bull. i can't even imagine riding one.

fashion show

at a local high school.

my fashion in high school was my letter jacket, acid washed shorts and neon aqua socks

lost dad

this man lost his father in vietnam - he was a little boy when his father died.

the military never found his remains till recently. and even though he is a grown adult he got very emotional talking about his father. i can't imagine growing up without my dad - all the support i have gotten from him over the years is immense.

i felt lucky to spend time with this guy and to make a picture with the only photograph he had of his father.

heat

saw this guy "fishing" in his plastic pool - the heat has finally arrived in connecticut - funny how everyone keep talking about how hot it is here and i still have flashbacks of winter so i'm quite ok with warmer temps.

on a side note, i'm still working on a couple of longer-term projects so once those are done i'll post some from those.

fancy restaurant
