from a story on a mom who is taking care of her son who is unfortunately battling brain cancer. watching her care for him was intense and moving, i really felt for their family, and of course, the young boy. i can't even pretend to know what they are going through.

update

i've been awol a bit, working on a long term story and then on the side working on this story as well - connecticut sled hockey team comprised of able and disabled-bodied people. it's a great sport and fun to watch. here one of the players gets ready to hit the ice.
