i love connecticut's fairs. the season is kicking off now and i went to one last night - i pulled this competitor off to the side for a portrait with her chicken called "Big Boy Jr."

the girl at left was nervous to try an obstacle course and her friend at right was offering words of encouragement. it was touching to witness.
