vietnam traveling wall

came thru hartford yesterday - here a vet spends time by the names of some of his friends that were killed in vietnam. he said he lost more than 12 and while he was talking to me he starting crying. i wanted to take his picture, but for some reason i refrained. tough to see a stranger that you meet in such a venerable situation, i felt for him.

i heart halloween

so i hung out at a haunted graveyard and saw some spooky things - not as spooky of course as the economy and the sad state of the newspaper industry but still. so i'm back shooting again next week after playing photo editor for a week. looking forward to getting back into the saddle.

b-17

so i got to go up in a b-17 bomber -= best part was you can stick your head out of the plane while in route. great to meet some of the WWII vets along the way as well.

i can't imagine bombing anything (except for the GRE when i finally get around to taking it)
